Max Bondu, artist, curator and designer, born in 1985, lives and works in Sergy (01, FR) near Geneva (CH). After studying Art History and Archeology in Marne-la-Vallée, he trained at the École Supérieure d’Art in Brest. Max Bondu practices interpretation. His work, centered on the notion of information and potential, taken from narratives or projected into the future, is made up of a multitude of case studies which beckon as omens. A very short list of his works would include, for example: androids more human than humans, a perpetual fusion in California, a macroscopic journey through the Palais de Tokyo, scientific artificial twins learning to play chess, exhaustive phonemes echoing on the moon or the careful observation of vibrations above a particle collider. He has taught architecture at ALICE, EPFL and co-manage a research platform on the study of clouds. He is co-founder of the bermuda workshops, a place of living and research which received the Silver Square architecture prize for its design.
